Taking It Slow With Missa More

Taking It Slow With Missa More

Hi guys!

Today’s post is in collaboration with Missa More featuring this monochrome cold-shoulder dress “Taking it slow”.

I am enjoying the current weather so much, with just a slight hint of the upcoming cold and still hot enough to avoid warm clothes.

This is the time to start embracing the trends and colours of fall, to eventually start layering them with warmer clothes. So if you are confused on how to start transitioning smoothly, there is one trend that can help you out in any season- Monochrome. No matter what the season, black and white can always come to your rescue.

So, if you have still not switched your wardrobes with darker hues, you can rely on the two universal colours- black and white.

Also, since autumn has officially started, it gives you the freedom to wear all sorts of boots, denim jackets, knee-high socks with my outfits, without looking like a weirdo. This has to be the perfect time of the year for any fashion-lover, as it allows you to experiment extensively with your looks by mixing styles and fabrics from both the seasons.

So, this look that I created for today’s post, is the result of one such experiment. The cold-shoulder trend has been a rage this year and it’s still one of the most sought after styles. So, this boho style cold-shoulder dress with tassel detailing at the front is really ideal for any weather.

I also love the abstract print of this dress. It reminds me of one time in school, when I had to submit a painting project the next day and had still not started it by the previous night. I ended up using every colour on the background and finished off with a similar pattern of black lines over the entire thing. I was so scared with the end result because I myself wasn’t sure what it looked like. But to my surprise, the teacher was so impressed by the originality of the design and gave me an A+🤔🤔

So, coming back to the dress, I love it’s loose fit, the nostalgic print and the cold-shoulder detailing. Also, it is really comfortable and can be worn on a regular basis with ease. I styled this dress with knee-high suede boots, which are one of the most popular shoe trends this season. I also wore a suede choker and completed the outfit with a white sling bag.

Since I styled this outfit for a day look, I also wore sunglasses with it and kept my makeup neutral.
