Two ways to style a shirt dress ft ONLY

Summer is my favourite time of the year as it brings with it a plethora of trends and outfit options to choose from. There are endless ways to style your outfits without getting over indulgent. In today’s age of instagram, where repeating an outfit is considered sinful, styling one outfit in different ways can save you from burning a hole in your pocket every time you go out. So in today’s post I will be sharing two ways to style a shirt dress that I recently bought from ONLY.

Shirt dress is the most versatile garment that you can own, as it can be styled in endless ways and looks super cool at the same time. I went to the ONLY store recently and was instantly drawn to the amazing colour and style of this military green shirt dress. Utilitarian fashion ie military inspired colours and styles have always been a prominent part of the fashion world in all seasons. The recent collection in ONLY has a lot of options in utilitarian styles.

This shirt dress is in denim fabric and the tie up belt at the waist gives it a very feminine touch. It is quite versatile and can be styled in numerous ways to suit your personal style. No matter how you wear it, it’s sure to make heads turn. I styled this dress in two different ways- once as a simple dress and once as a trench jacket.

For the first look, I wore the dress tied up at the waist with the belt. I paired it with tie up heels from Zara, which are my absolute favourite this season. I accessorized the look with double hoop earrings and a box bag from forever 21.

For the second look, I wore the dress unbuttoned over a pair of embellished denims from ONLY and a plain black tshirt. I paired this outfit with nude heels from Zara, embellished buckle belt from Gucci and a tote bag from Michael Kors.
